Lee Brice Hopes to Record a Gospel Album with Mom and Sisters
Country music superstar Lee Brice hopes to record a Gospel album with his mom and sister one day. However at this time, it is unclear if this Gospel album will be for all his fans to enjoy or if it's just for the family's keepsake.
In an interview with "Rolling Stone," Brice says, "My mom and all her sisters sang gospel music my whole life, and they're amazing. They made a record in Nashville, "I'm going to send a tour bus to pick them all up in South Carolina in July and bring them here to my house, and I'm going to make a new record on them. We're going to sing classic gospel songs and have them sing in the background. I cannot wait."
Known for #1 country songs such as "A Woman Like You," "Hard to Love" and "I Drive Your Truck," Brice is one of the fastest rising stars of country music. However, this is not to say that Brice is giving up on his booming country music career. In fact, he has just released the lead single "I Don't Dance" from his forthcoming country album of the same titular that will hit the stores on September 9. The single "I Don't Dance" is co-written by Brice, Rob Hatch and Dallas Davidson. The song became another top 10 hit for Brice when it peaked at #6 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs. As of June 2014, the song sold 524,000 copies in the US alone.
