John Schlitt to Perform at 'CCM United: Music, Moments, and Memories' Concert

Legendary rock vocalist, Grammy and Dove Award-winning, GMA Hall of Famer John Schlitt is slated to perform at the upcoming two-day CCM United Music, Moments, and Memories concert event which will be held at the historic Franklin Theatre in downtown Franklin, Tennessee on Feb. 5 & 6, 2019.
Schlitt will join more than a dozen classic contemporary Christian music artists, including Phil Keaggy, Bruce Carroll, Rick Cua, The Katinas, Geoff Moore, Clay Crosse, Big Tent Revival, Guardian, Wes King, Al Denson, Tammy Trent, DeGarmo & Key (Eddie DeGarmo and guest vocalist), Jaci Velasquez, and Mark Schultz, who will share their music and their special memories.
Schlitt is scheduled to take the stage on the second day of the event, Wednesday, Feb. 6.
"I'm thrilled to join so many of these artists who have poured their lives and talents out for the sake of the Gospel," says Schlitt. "And it is always a joy to share my own music and stories with fans, particularly at such an amazing venue as the Franklin Theatre." Shows on both nights start at 7:30 p.m. CT. Tickets are available for single nights, with a special discount for those purchasing tickets to both nights. To purchase tickets visit franklintheatre.com/websales.
Schlitt's CCM United appearance follows on the heels of a busy 2018, which saw the celebrated vocalist performing at events throughout the country and across the ocean. In addition to his solo concerts, Schlitt joined The Jay Sekulow Band for performances at several events, including a NASCAR benefit concert and a televised American Center for Law and Justice benefit concert. He fronted The Union of Sinners and Saints, featuring Billy Smiley (Whiteheart) and Jason Fowler, during the band's Storyteller tour, and joined fellow Petra alum, Bob Hartman, for a Scandinavian tour, among other events.
