Travis Cottrell Resources the Church with New Christmas Songs

Worship leader and songwriter Travis Cottrell has just released his new Christmas ep Heaven's Hope. This is the follow-up to his 2008's Christmas effort Ring the Bells.
Cottrell wrirtes: "When we first began plans for this new Christmas EP, we knew our objective was to resource the church with great Christmas worship songs. I knew going in that it was going be a completely different goal/sound/approach/expectation than Ring the Bells. Ring the Bells is one of my favorite projects I've ever been a part of. I still love it like it's brand new. But this new thing was to be in a different space altogether...less of a "classic, orchestral Christmas," and more of a corporate worship piece. And that is exactly what it is. The first three songs are corporate worship songs that I LOVE and am proud to be a part of. But then they came to me with the idea of covering Mary, Did You Know. I didn't know what to think at first. I was already so ready not to even go to that broad, dramatic space on this short project. But when I heard the production direction, I couldn't resist. I fell in love with it in an instant. And then to get to sing it with my baby girl...that's like the best Christmas present ever.
