StowTown Records Releases The Ulitimate Christmas Recording

Christmas music encompasses a wide variety of styles and genres. Regardless of your musical preference, the new multi-artist Christmas project from StowTown Records will have you in the Christmas spirit. The second offering in the Heart & Soul Series, Joy: The Ultimate Christmas Collectionincludes 20 Christmas songs from today's top artists.
Co-founder and producer, Wayne Haun, shares, "This CDi s patterned after the Time-Life Treasury of Christmas collections. One of the reasons those were so popular was that they offered a variety of styles in music and emotion. With Joy: The Ultimate Christmas Collection we give the listener a wide variety of styles from a brass choir to bluegrass in a long-play CD format which they can enjoy at parties, over dinner, while wrapping Christmas gifts or just for fun. When we say 'Ultimate,' we mean it!"
Starting the project with a big orchestral number, "Christmas Prelude," pianist Trey Ivey is followed by country group 4th + Main's "Imagine This Christmas." For those who like the familiar classics, "O Come All Ye Faithful" (Jody McBrayer), "Auld Lang Syne" (TaRanda) and "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" (The Perrys) will be favorites. Southern Gospel fans will enjoy George Younce's "Silent Night" and Ernie Haase & Signature Sound's "What Child Is This?" while fans of Traditional Gospel will have Lillie Knauls' "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing" on repeat. Bluegrass groupSouthern Raised contributes "Carol of the Bells" and The Browns' "English Carol Medley" will delight the listener with carols of days gone by. And that's just half of the project! From spiritual hymns to fun, light-hearted songs, the listener will be in the Christmas spirit as they sing along.
"Recently, Wayne Haun and I took a rare afternoon off from all our endeavors and met in Nashville where we sat down and listened to Joy from beginning to end," recallsStowTown Records co-founder and artist Ernie Haase. "Joy was on our faces and in our hearts! Tears of joy even flowed. This project is so good! You want joy this Christmas? I highly recommend you purchase this CD and do what we did: be intentional. Turn off your cell phone, close your laptop, sit down with family and friends, and experience Christ's love through this music."
Joy: The Ultimate Christmas Celebration is the perfect addition to your Christmas playlist or CD collection. It is available now worldwide via digital and retail outlets and is distributed exclusively by Sony/Provident.
