Keith and Kristyn Getty's New EP Finds Inspiration in the Psalms

Preeminent modern hymn writers Keith and Kristyn Getty of Getty Music, launched the release of their latest EP titled, "The North Coast Sessions," which includes hymns and songs inspired, in part, by the book of Psalms.
"North Coast Sessions," was recorded on Northern Ireland's stunning coastline and is the first studio recording the Getty's have released since 2016. It features songs such as "I Will Wait for You" based on Psalm 130; "The Lord Is My Shepherd" based on Psalm 23; and "I Lift My Eyes" based on Psalm 121.
The project released during the Getty's second annual Getty Music Worship Conference Sing!, which focused this year on the Psalms and ways they shape personal prayer, public worship life, inspire beauty and truth and point to Christ and eternity.
"Many of the songs on this EP have been inspired by the Psalms," said Keith Getty. "The Psalms deliver such a wide range of theology and human expression, and it is critical that we, as believers, think deeply about how they shape and inform our lives, families and churches. Many of the themes are vital for the church to engage with and understand the depth of theological eloquence they deliver."
