'Third Person' Movie Releases Jun 2014 Starring Liam Neeson, Mila Kunis & James Franco, Watch Trailer (VIDEO)
The new romantic drama movie Third Person is set to release in the U.S. on June 20th from Sony Pictures. The film is directed and written by Paul Haggis and starring James Franco, Mila Kunis, Olivia Wilde, Liam Neeson, Adrien Brody, Kim Basinger, and Maria Bello.
Plot: The film tells three inter-connected love stories that take place in Paris, New York and Rome.
Paris: Michael (Neeson), a writer who recently left his wife Theresa (Basinger), receives a visit from his lover Anna (Wilde). The story explores their very complicated on/off relationship due to her inability to commit because of a terrible secret.
New York: Julia (Kunis) has recently been charged with attempting to kill her son, a charge which she firmly denies. As a result of these charges, her son is now in the custody of his father Rick (Franco) who is trying everything in his power to take the boy away from her. Julia is trying at all costs to regain custody of her son.
Rome: Sean (Brody), an American business man on a trip to Italy, falls in love with an Italian woman, Monica (Atias). Sean is inevitably drawn into a plot where he tries to free Monica's daughter who has been kidnapped by an Italian gangster and is being held for ransom. Emotions run high as the viewer and Sean question whether this is a set up or not.
Third Person premiered at the 2013 Toronto Film Festival and they released the first US trailer on April 18.
"I must have written fifty drafts," said writer/director Haggis. "I just kept getting it wrong and starting over, for two and a half years, six to eight hours a day, six days a week, until I finally thought it was more or less right. I got plenty of notes from Michael and Moran and our other co-producer Deborah Rennard; some I took, some I would try and later jettison, some I would reject-but I knew that if there was a note, there was a reason-so I just kept at it. And of course I kept tinkering with the script, rewriting through production and editing-in fact right up until we recorded the score."
Will you go see Third Person when it releases to theaters on June 20th?
