The Kingdom Heirs Return with New Album "The Last Big Thing"

Southern gospel music icons The Kingdom Heirs return with a new album The Last Big Thing on September 26. The adage better with age doesn't apply to everything, but it certainly fits when you're talking about the music and ministry of The Kingdom Heirs. Thirty-five years ago the often awarded, highly acclaimed Southern Gospel quartet started out with a definite bang. And now, all this time later, the veteran singing machine remains a primary force and factor in the forefront of the Southern Gospel Music genre.
Through every season of their existence, a massive catalog of stunning songs- ten of them #1 hits with a host of Top 5's-even with a major personnel change that occurred early in the new century, the men of The Kingdom Heirs have kept their focus and their faith. They had a calling to fulfill and their history is still being written.
The group's brand new album The Last Big Thing serves up a rhythmic reminder why The Kingdom Heirs eclectic brand of Gospel music is not only alive and well, it's flourishing and will remain a viable force far into the future.Their soon-to-release collection is infused with upbeat and uniquely crafted songs like "Heroes of Faith," the makes-youwant-to-shout message that's heard in the album's debut radio single "The Last Big Thing," and a tenderly delivered bass-led ballad titled "Heaven Just Got Sweeter for You."
The group's first mainline recording in several years, it is indeed the sure n' sweet result of three and a half decades of preparation, dedication, class, and of course, an impressive assemblage of major talent that's found at every part and in every player who make-up The Kingdom Heirs. Speaking of adages, it's often stated the proof is in the pudding.
Here's a little spoonful: When a major tourist attraction like Pigeon Forge, Tennessee's Dollywood has kept you in their employ as the park's resident Gospel Music ambassador for uninterrupted three-plus decades, there has to be a mighty good reason. You'll hear that reason emanate to perfection in every single song and musical track of The Last Big Thing.
