Skillet Debuts New Lyric Video For Mainstream Single "The Resistance"
Skillet has kept sizzling at rock radio since it released its 10th studio album, UNLEASHED, in August 2016. Billboard is exclusively premiering the lyric video supporting their third mainstream radio single from the record, "The Resistance." The song was just rolled out to mainstream rock radio and is currently being featured on iHeartRadio's "New Rock Weekly" playlist!
Their No. 1 hit at both Mainstream and Christian Rock Radio, "Feel Invincible," was honored with both Song of the Year and Rock/Contemporary Song of the Year nominations for the 48th Annual Gospel Music Association (GMA) Dove Awards. The album holding the track, UNLEASHED, was also recognized in the Rock/Contemporary Album of the Year category. The 48th Annual GMA Dove Awards will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 17 in Nashville, Tenn. and will air exclusively on the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) on Sunday, October 22.
"Lions" is currently trekking on multiple Christian radio charts, including No. 4 on the Billboard CHR chart and No. 24 on the Mediabase Christian Audience Chart. The newly released lyric video for "Lions" has already garnered over 800K views.
Skillet will take their international "Unleashed Tour" to Canada in September before headlining Air 1's "Positive Hits" with support from Britt Nicole, Colton Dixon and Tauren Wells through November. For the latest tour routing and for tickets, visit www.Skillet.com.
