Keith & Kristyn Getty Release Their Second Kids' Hymnal "For the Cause"
Engaging kids with songs to carry for life that share timeless truths with intentional artistry, For the Cause is the second release in the Getty Kids Hymnal album series. The album will be available in stores and online on June 16. As with the first release (In Christ Alone) this latest album features 12 hymns old and new sung by kids for kids of all ages to sing along to! Recorded with kid friendly arrangements by the Getty Band.
This album's release will coincide with the Getty Music Global Hymn Sing (June 11, 2017). Following the success of last year's hymn sing with its 1,000,000+ participants, the Global Hymn Sing returns this year, on June 11, 2017, and the featured hymn is "For the Cause" - an anthem to encourage the proclamation of Christ and salvation in His name. Participating churches are invited to have their children lead the congregation in song. A goal of 2,000,000 singing congregants has been set for this year's sing!
