Garth Brooks Contributes Two New Songs to Mary Duff's New Album "Changing Lanes"

Over his mega career of sold-out concerts and multi-platinum albums, Garth Brooks has co-written many of his own #1 hits such as "Unanswered Prayers," "Papa Loved Mama" and "She's Every Woman." However, he has seldom written songs for other artists. Now, Brooks and co-writer Kent Maxson has sent two original songs for Irish country music Mary Duff's new album for ISG Records. The first of which is Mary Duff's new single "Mr Noble." which is based on the life of Maxson's grandfather Noble Maxson.
The all original album titled Changing Lanes will be Mary's debut for the dynamic UK based label and her first fresh collection for 7 years. Mary Duff was the first artist to open for Garth Brooks way back in 1991 at the star's European debut performance in London and he is reported to be delighted at Duff's signing with the new label and return to the recording scene.
Joining Garth Brooks on Mary Duff's album are the song writing talents of many members of the International Songwriters Guild and in particular original contributions from Kent Blazy (If Tomorrow Never Comes) and Buddy Cannon (producer of Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Kenny Chesney) adding to a plethora of Grammy award winning scribes to make this a tantalising treat to look forward to on its April release. The album will be co-produced by Steve Milne and Pete Ware with musical contributions by some of Nashville and Ireland s finest musicians.
