Joey + Rory Feek Celebrate Daughter Indiana's Second Birthday

Three months ago, Joey + Rory Feek prayed that Joey would live to their daughter Indiana's second birhday. God in his graciousness not only answered Joey's prayers, but He allowed the couple to spend one last birthday with their daughter with joy and great memories. The pair's daughter, Indiana, turned 2 on Tuesday, and the dying singer reveled in her ability to celebrate the big day.
"Some birthdays are more than just birthdays. They're dreams coming true and prayers being answered," reads the caption on the couple's Instagram page.
Joey + Rory also posted a video on Wednesday (Feb. 17) featuring little Indiana beaming from ear to ear as Rory tells her Happy Birthday, with the caption saying " ... barely awake and already signing and celebrating her big day."
Joey is currently suffering from the last stages of terminal cancer and she is currently staying in a hospice care in her hometown of Alexandria, Indiana.
Last week, Rory posted on his blog, This Life I Live, detailing their plans for the little girl's birthday party, which will include cupcakes, of course, and a theme centered around the children's book The Gruffalo.
"Our plan is to put streamers up around Joey's bed and move Indiana's high-chair in beside her, so Joey can be part of it," he explained. "So she can watch our little one eat her cupcake and rip the wrapping paper off her gifts. But Joey is very fragile right now, and so with all of these plans we have, we will need to adjust for what my wife needs."
Indy is the couple's first child together, but Rory had two other daughters, Heidi and Hopie, from another marriage.
