Brooke Fraser Records Charity Single "Team Ball Player Thing" (Listen Here)

Singer and songwriter Brooke Fraser has joined a host of New Zealand artists to record a new single called "Team Ball Player Thing." The song is be used to raise money for charity. The playful track features vocal contributions from the likes of Lorde, The Naked and Famous, Kimbra, BROODS, Brooke Fraser and more.
Funds raised from the project go to fight Batten disease. Batten disease (also known as Spielmeyer-Vogt-Sjögren-Batten disease) is a rare, fatal autosomal recessive neurodegenerative disorder that begins in childhood. It is the most common form of a group of disorders called the neuronal ceroid lipofuscinoses (NCLs).
Brooke Fraser is best known as one of the worship leaders and songwriters of Hillsong Church. She has penned or co-penned such worship staples as "Hosanna," "Our Father" and "Tansfiguration." Fraser is also known for her solo work which includes her third studio album Flags, and hit single "Something in the Water". Fraser is one of the top selling and most popular recording artists of all time in New Zealand, her albums being awarded 15x platinum to date. Her album, Brutal Romantic, was released in November 2014.
