LeAnn Rimes Preps New Christmas Album & Tour
It's only August but Grammy award winner LeAnn Rimes is already planning her new Christmas album. "Today is Christmas" will follow last year's "One Christmas-- Chapter One." This new album will be Rimes' second independently released album after leaving Curb Records.
Though the album's release date hs not been set, Rimes already has annual holiday tour mapped out. This year dubbed the "Today Is Christmas Tour," begins on Dec. 4 in Tacoma, Wash. "I wait for Christmas all year long; it's my absolute favorite holiday;" Rimes says in a statement. "I can't wait to share some of my new, original Christmas songs with my fans, as well as my favorite classics. I am looking forward to making more holiday memories with my fans this year."
Rimes says that she enjoys performing on her Christmas tour more than any of her other concerts throughout the year."I love everything about the holidays," she explains, "and want to share the magic and joy of the season with my fans."Singer-songwriter Ellee Duke will serve as Rimes' opening act on the Today Is Christmas Tour.
