Casey J Spends 8th Week at #1, Collects A Million Views on YouTube

Gospel music's new sweetheart is a Georgia peach known as Casey J Hobbs. She has skyrocketed to the top of the genre with her mammoth radio smash "Fill Me Up" that is spending its eighth week in the #1* slot on Billboard Magazine's Gospel Airplay chart. There's also another new milestone to add to the 28-year old singer's burgeoning resume. The lyric video to "Fill Me Up" has now surpassed the million mark in views on You Tube. "I'm just overwhelmed with the doors that are opening," Casey J says of the song's success. "It's all about God and I'm happy to be one of the vessels He's using in this season." She wrote or co-wrote eight of the twelve tracks including the rousing tune "I'm Yours" and the worship ballad "Have Your Way," a duet with RCA Inspirational recording artist Jason Nelson. She also sang the hymn "No Not One" with her grandmother Dorothy Mae Choates and provided an upbeat, festive atmosphere of songs that kept the crowd on its collective feet all night.
