Darlene Zschech Clear of Cancer and Readies Christmas Single "O Holy Night"

About a your ago, Darlene Zschech shocked the world when she revealed that she had breast cancer. After a year of prayer, surgery, treatment and halting her busy touring schedule, Zschech is finally cancer free.
Writing on her own blog, the Hillsong Worship founder has this to say: "SO last wednesday, as Mark and I sat down in the surgeons office, expecting a good report, but to be honest, I knew I was holding back a piece of myself 'just in case'. The last time I sat in his office was not one of my favourite days.
But we are SO blessed to report that there is no sign of cancer in this body!!!!! In the good Dr's very South African accent he said 'this is quite miraculous Darlene'!!.
We have wept, danced, hugged our arms out, and have literally just said THANK YOU to Jesus as many times as one can.
Again, I thank each and every one of you for your relentless prayers, I have felt the effects of them a million times over, and I just sit here today, one very grateful woman."
In celebration, the "Shout to the Lord" writer had a thanksgiving celebration service in church where she led the worship with new songs that she has had penned while going through her treatments. Rumor has it that these songs will become material for her forthcoming worship album.
However, fans waiting for new music from Zschech need not wait any longer. In a few days Zschech will be releasing her new Christmas single "O Holy Night" and early next year Integrity Music will be issuing a compilation Zschech album entitled "In Jesus' Name: A Legacy of Worship and Faith."
