'Sons of Anarchy' Season 7, Episode 8 Recap: The Thrill Continues And Everything Becomes More Interesting
Following the unfortunate capture of Bobby and an eyeball loss in the installment last week, the latest episode found Jax and the company going through similar motions, which are trying as well as failing to gain the enemy's upper hand, getting violent brutally when things do not go according to plan after receiving another body part of Bobby in the package from Moses Cartwright, silently realizing how deep the rabbit hole goes.
With that said, the episode this week did manage to throw some curveballs at every viewer including the two words spoken by the unexpected character who changed the Gemma's game in "The Separation of Crows"
Now that one of the members of SAMCRO is suffering at the hands of the known August Marks together with his crew, Jax seems to understand the weight of what he has been doing for the last past weeks. Marks is stronger, smarter, and he has got nothing to lose as described by Jax to Chibs. According to TVLine, for quite some time, Jax wants to back out of the ordeal, yet Chibs will not have it. The "Sons of Anarchy" characters have a duty, which is a mission and this takes a few good men to get Jax back on board along with the club business.
Juice has also proposed a deal to Unser and Jarry, promising he will reveal the names of those who killed Eli and Tara as long as Juice goes to administrative segregation. Although Jarry comes around to the concept, Unser knows that something is fishy and quickly observes the long-term plan of SAMCRO to kill Lin through Juice.
Based on Den of Geek, every episode keeps things interesting, but it needs to have a sense of forward momentum. Also, the status quo should be shifted. When that all said and done, the best and most shocking about this is that writers who were once so great at keeping the viewers on their toes seem to lost the skill entirely. But, overall, "Sons of Anarchy" is still a thrilling and hit TV series that everyone should watch.
