Will 'Orange Is the New Black' Alum Lorraine Toussaint Return? Netflix Responds to Rumors
Attention Litchfield inmates because it was revealed recently that Vee, the huge bully in "Orange Is the New Black" history, won't be returning for the third season. Many fans were thrilled when Lorraine Toussaint will take her role back again after being spotted on the set of the original series of Netflix. Yet, Netflix quickly diffused the numerous rumors when it was confirmed that Vee will be absent from the forthcoming installment.
When Season 2 ended, the fate of Vee was actually up in the air. That is the reason why there are many fans who asked if she was already dead or managed to survive getting run over through Miss Rosa. Due to this, fans with fingers crossed are awaiting for the upcoming season. Besides, Vee did send a favorite prison matriarch to hospital after she struck Red over her head with the lock in the sock.
During her interview, she was teased about her character's fate by some twisted theories. She said that they are not sure if Vee is dead. She added that the character could be dead, yet she couldn't be dead. That is still an open ended question for everyone.
Originally, the character's death of Toussaint seemed concrete. However, as the filming continues, she got to be dead. This is what Toussaint revealed recently. She said that as the filming continued, the character got less dead. Maybe she is stunned. Vee is a survivor and that's what made her. The instinct to survive in every person is extraordinary. Even if Vee will not appear physically behind the bars in the next season of "Orange Is the New Black", her presence will be felt definitely as Nicky is struggling with her sobriety after dealing with drugs, which Vee left.
In other news, Daily Mail UK reported that Samira Wiley of "Orange Is the New Black" ditched her prison garb for the chest-baring designer duds on the Maniac's October cover. The actress has accessorized her purple fur stole with Yves Saint Laurent, which was actually hand-painted by the Brush Footwear.
The spokesmodel of PayPal also bared her midriff in the Skin Graft harness as well as Nirco Castillo pony hair with bra-top for spread shot last month by April Hubal at the Urban Cowboy B&B in the area of Brooklyn.
