TV Pilot "Seven Days of Change" To Premiere At Justice Film Festival
Sevenly founder Dale Partridge has been announced as a featured presenter at the upcoming Justice Film Festival. At the second annual event, Sevenly will also showcase their new TV pilot "Seven Days of Change". The reality show chronicles a stylish Southern California company that takes on the challenge of implementing life-changing solutions to deserving charities every seven days.
Held on Sunday February 23, 2014, the one-day Justice Film Festival takes place at The Downtown Independent theater in Los Angeles. The festival seeks to promote compelling storytelling, celebrate and showcase high quality films and shows that create a platform for conversation and action among justice-minded individuals and organizations.
In the vein of reality shows like "Extreme Home Makeover", "Shark Tank" and "Undercover Boss", "Seven Days of Change" follows a socially-minded e-commerce company that creates a different campaign each week to raise funds and awareness for deserving charities which are changing the world. Along with highlighting each organization, Sevenly will uncover the empathetic story of an individual or family affected by the cause, and support them in their journey.
Each week, the Sevenly team will create incredible hand-drawn art, build an entirely new product line, and develop a creative awareness campaign for the organization. For every product then sold at Sevenly.org, $7 will be donated to that week's charity. By partnering with some of the world's largest organizations - from World Vision to Autism Speaks to the Humane Society, Sevenly and the weekly charity partner hope to raise $100,000 and create over 10 million online impressions every seven days.
Dale Partridge is the CEO and "Chief World Changer" at Sevenly. On the show, viewers will experience the intensity of his life leading a large company, hiring talented team members, working with investors and trying to create a business model that embodies a lifestyle of generosity. "Seven Days of Change" is produced by Darren Moorman for Chazown Pictures, and is represented by Paradigm agents Michael Van Dyck and Paraj Puri.
Festival director Andy Peterson states, "We are thrilled to premiere the pilot for 'Seven Days of Change' at the Justice Film Festival. The ethos of Sevenly embodies so much of what we're about - creating exposure for some incredible causes and supporting organizations that are in the trenches of pursuing justice around the world."
Produced by Nashville-based independent film marketing agency Propeller, the Justice Film Festival team has curated a collection of films featuring new perspectives on well-known topics while revealing untold stories of unexpected courage and redemption through the medium of documentaries, feature films, and shorts. The festival will acknowledge outstanding films in numerous categories that exhibit excellence in creativity, storytelling and filmmaking. Judges for 2014 include Paste Magazine movie critic Michael Dunaway, filmmaker Steve Taylor, Jars of Clay vocalist Dan Haseltine, Director of the LA Film Studies Center Rebecca Ver Straten-McSparran, and award winning documentary producer Jen Thompson, among many others.
