Toshiba Chromebook 2 Review: First Impression, Display Size, Dimensions, Media
Toshiba's first ever Chromebook was welcomed by many consumers and experts. The laptop's affordability was one of its greatest strength. However, it wasn't perfect, especially since its screen was somewhat average and that its resolution capacity was rather low. This is why the manufacturing company decided to come up with the Chromebook 2. In this Toshiba Chromebook 2 review, you will learn more of what the latest laptop from the well-known company has to offer.
According to Trusted Reviews, the key features of the Toshiba Chromebook 2 includes having a 13.3-inch screen; sporting two different resolution versions, namely the 768 p and the 1080p variants; and sporting the Chrome operating system. It is also worthy to note that, just like its predecessor, the latest version of the Toshiba Chromebook is being offered at an affordable price: only $330.
As for the display screen, Trusted Reviews cited that the normal version features 1366 by 768 pixels. The Full HD version, on the other hand, is equipped with a 1920 by 1080 resolution display screen. Of course, if you want to get the most out of your viewing and/or gaming experience, the latter is a much better option. Aside from the Full HF panel of the laptop, its IPS display is also impressive. High definition videos can be viewed with their colors looking very crisp and rich. All in all, both photos and videos look more appealing, since they come out sharper.
In the world of Chromebooks, many of us know that the standard measurement for the display screens is 11.6 inches. This is one of the greatest advantages of the Toshiba Chromebook 2, as Computer World has reported. This, coupled with the higher resolution display offered by the latest Chromebook, makes the laptop ideal not only for having more work done, but also for gaming or viewing.
The stereo speakers of the Toshiba Chromebook 2, as CNET has reported, are from Skullcandy, the very popular headphones maker. The webcam, which is also in high definition, is equipped with a dual-mic. You will also find two USB ports, with one being a USB 3.0 and the other being a USB 2.0. There is also a full-size HDMI output and an SD card slot on the side.
