Taylor Swift New Album '1989' Release Date, Watch Her "Shake It Off" X Factor Australia Live Performance Here (VIDEO)
Taylor Swift was in Australia last Month to make an appearance and perform on the "X-Factor" Australia finale. She performed her smash hit single "Shake It Off" from her upcoming album 1989. You can check out her performance above.
Marlisa Punzalan was named winner of "X Factor" Australia at the end of the night.
"Here's the video of our X Factor Australia performance of Shake It Off! I miss Australia already, watching this" Taylor wrote on her Twitter account.
"Shake It Off" immediately went to No.1 on the Billboard 100 and her second single "Out of the Woods was released last week. Today she released her third song off of her upcoming album titled "Welcome to New York".
Her new album 1989 releases next week, on October 27th and you can pre-order the new album at her website.
In the extended personal interview on Yahoo, Swift answered fan questions from all over the world on social media and from the audience.
She shares that the reason for the title was that it is her birth date (December 13, 1989) but also that she likes to have two years in between albums to see her growth. She shared that her new album would be her first full on pop album and inspired from the music of the 80's that she has been listening to.
"I really loved the chances they were taking. I loved how bold it was," she said. "It was, apparently, a time of limitless potential. ... The idea of endless possibility was kind of a theme in the last year of my life."
